Digswell Players is a member of NODA, the National Operatic and Dramatic Association. We reside in District 9 of the East Region and have been nominated for and have won many awards over the years. In 2024 we were nominated for Best Youth Production for our Expressions production of Frozen Jr and Best Pantomime for Aladdin. We ended up winning the award for Best Set in a Confined Space (because we have a small stage!) jointly for The House of Frankenstein (our 2023 May Play) and Aladdin.

 

We are excited that our 2024 May play, Bill Bryson’s Notes from a Small Island, has been nominated for both Best Drama and Best Technical Achievement (for a creative set and good use of a set in a restricted space) in this year’s awards. We are keeping our fingers crossed!
